Must. Stand. That is exactly how I would describe Blair this past week. She is at her happiest if she is "standing." She likes to bounce, so we have begun putting her in the jumper as an alternative to the excer-saucer. She loves it!
So, some things about our 17 weeks old, Miss Blair. She is nearly 16 pounds and growing by the minute. She eats about 6 oz of formula, per sitting on a pretty consistent basis. She does a great job burping herself - most of the times. We started giving Blair pacys early on, but she has really gone away from them - usually just spitting them out. I think that while she is in the middle of this teething stuff, she has no interest in them. We have decided that we'll take a break on them and see if she likes them later.
Blair is still quite the talker. And drooler.
I don't know if I mentioned this earlier, but Blair now has full control of her head - which makes it a lot easier to carry her around while cleaning and straightening up. It is a nice change! She has also begun showing interest in holding her own bottle. Sometimes she likes practicing taking it out of her mouth, but it always ends up back in.
One incredibly adorable thing that B now does is "hugging." When Trav or I pick her up and put her over our shoulder, she wraps both of her arms around our shoulders / necks like she is hugging us. I melt every single time. It is so cute and I love it so very much.
Travis and I have been watching this new show, "Departures" on Halogen. What a neat show. It follows these two guys around the world doing neat and different things. It is inspiring to watch! It is on Monday nights, around 7, 8 or 9pm... You should definitely check it out!
Here are some pictures from Blair's 15 and 16th weeks!
